- 399 fault when sourcing resistance or capacitance
- Unstable, inaccurate, or OOT (out-of-tolerance) resistance or capacitance
- 4-wire compensation inoperative
A5 faults often occur after excessive current or voltage has been applied to the calibrator's output terminals. DO NOT attempt to calibrate Meg-Ohm meters or insulation testors with a 5520A! Damage to A5 is likely to result.
